Apologies are not easy, even when they’re given from the heart. Creators of the Sorrywatch blog, Susan McCarthy and Marjorie Ingall, have deciphered how to best give an apology. In their latest book, Sorry, Sorry, Sorry: The Case for Good Apologies, they deconstruct, analyze and help readers create apologies that are genuine, honest and witty, even. Drawing from a deep well of research in psychology, sociology, law and medicine, the authors will be workshopping requests for forgiveness at Kepler’s on Jan. 10. Hosted by Kepler’s Angie Coiro, this is an opportunity to learn how to apologize the right way and the wrong way, in real time.
