During the early ‘00s, Kung Fu Vampire’s dramatic gothic take on hip hop and performance swept his music towards fans of a certain Posse from Detroit, though Kung Fu has always remained a uniquely San Jose rapper. Ageless in the game, his resurrection at the Ritz celebrates his latest album Black Heart Machine, where he’s flanked by Chow Mane—whose tasty Bay beats stack party playlists internationally—singer and rapper Yo.Izz and Good Cult founder Cola.
