Rick Springfield first got his musical sealegs as a member of Australian pop rock band Zoot, scoring some hit singles before breaking out on his own. From there, a string of immortal pop songs emerged, like the 1981 number one hit, “Jessie’s Girl,” as well as “Don’t Talk to Strangers” and “Affair of the Heart”. But Springfield didn’t confine his art simply to music. Even though he just released his seventeenth album, he’s also gained a reputation through the years for both his acting chops (General Hospital, True Detective) as well as writing with multiple best-selling memoirs. But at Mountain Winery, it’s all about the music. Openers include The Hooters and Tommy Tutone.
