Mike Park is a local legend. The South Bay icon fronted Skankin’ Pickle, who were ska punk titans that influenced every ’90s ska band that had a radio hit. He also founded Asian Man Records, which released critical ska, emo, and indie rock records–and still does! So anyone that has ever considered going to Art Boutiki’s “Drink and Draw,” this is the time to do it. By the way, the name says it all. It’s drinking and drawing. What more do you need? But it’s also a social event. And Mike Park will be spinning vinyl while you get deep into your latest creation. He’s bringing his ska collection. From Jamaican ska to modern day rude boys.
