Spoken word is the bomb! The art form raises a mighty fist to the air and plunges down throats, ripping out hearts, only to mend them before gently placing them back. In turbulent times such as these, spoken word performers are the seers, speaking into culture the zeitgeisty, half-formed thoughts in the back of the mind or the tip of the tongue.
