.Marina Crouse in San Jose

Bay Area vocalist (and Spanish professor!) Marina Crouse is paying tribute to one of her greatest influences, the Latin pop legend Eydie Gormé. In 1964, the Bronx-born star embarked on a fruitful collaboration with the Trio Los Panchos, leading to a chart-topping album of Spanish love songs called Amor. Crouse grew up listening to this music and has recorded many versions of the hits. She brings depth and emotion to favorites like “Sabor a mí” and “Di que no es verdad.” She’s also poised to revive some lesser-known gems.
