As a foundational component of Colombian culture informed by even older Spanish and African traditions, cumbia’s popularity spread throughout Latin America in the middle 20th century. Today, the music and dance are popular all over the world. This lively event will be headlined by the long-running Colombian group La Sonora Dinamita with Vilma Díaz and includes sets by El Feeling, La Doña and DJ Wonway Posibul.
