Pat Benatar owned the ’80s, right up there with Prince and MJ. While her music videos (in constant rotation on MTV) featured her as a lone badass with a great sneer and oh-so-much eyeliner, she was, in fact, part of a legendary partnership with songwriter/producer/guitarist Neil Giraldo, who knew how to showcase and collaborate with one of rock’s most iconic women in a way that lifted her up and let her shine. Together, they scored two multiplatinum, five platinum, three gold albums, 19 Top 40 hits, and four consecutive Grammies. Pop rockers the Vindys—from Youngstown, Ohio—will open the show.
