Several generations now have grown up with their cinematic escapism soundtracked by the great John Williams, whose work with Steven Spielberg and others has made it so recordings of his music can make a grown human instantly regress to the wide-eyed child who once watched on the edge of their seat as Luke battled Vader, or ET lifted Elliot and friend’s bikes into the sky. The Peninsula Symphony will celebrate the composer’s body of work by performing his most iconic compositions from Jaws to Harry Potter.
