Allen Stone, the son of a preacher man and native of Chewelah, Washington, was immersed in music from an early age, a boon that eventually took him to Seattle, his current home base when not relentlessly touring the country in his ’87 Buick. Playing up to 200 shows per year, Stone shared the stage with luminaries like Al Green, Dave Matthews Band, Erykah Badu and Stevie Wonder. Slowly but surely, he’s developed a reputation for enigmatic live performances and a stunning, refreshing fusion of genres like funk, soul, gospel and good ol’ rock ‘n’ roll.
