Given the creative undercurrent that runs through the South Bay, no one knows how many young bands are seeking exposure. Luckily, the New Band New Year show is here for aspiring musicians to strut their stuff. Presented by local promoters Heavy Lemon and Crossthread SJ, the New Band New Year mini-fest features new bands on a proper stage. It’s the perfect venue for untested musicians to face an audience and find new fans. However, the show only applies to truly “new” bands. Bands already playing shows need not apply.
