Rotating casts of talented 8- to 14-year-olds trained at Children’s Musical Theater present the staged version of a classic novel by Mark Twain. In this musical comedy, Tom Sawyer’s greatest exploits are performed to foot-stomping songs by country hit songwriter Don Schlitz. Whether he’s matching wits with his stern Aunt Polly, tricking friends into whitewashing a fence for him or narrowly escaping the book’s villain, Injun Joe, young Sawyer finds a way through with his best friend, Huckleberry Finn, and love interest Becky Thatcher.
