After last year’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction and the release of her excellent memoir, Chermania continues in The Cher Show. Based on a book by Rick Elice, the jukebox musical opened on Broadway in 2018 and won two Tonys. It celebrates the Dark Lady’s life and music, from her two famous marriages to Sonny Bono and Gregg Allman to six decades of hit songs. Directed by Casey Hushion, the show features costumes from the one-and-only Bob Mackie and stars Catherine Ariale, Ella Perez and Morgan Scott as three versions of Cher.
