The story of Motown’s greatest vocal groups of the 60s is a Broadway sensation. Ain’t Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations brings The Temptations’ journey from Detroit’s streets to legendary status, to the theater. Set to the beat of chart-toppers like “My Girl,” “Just My Imagination,” “Get Ready” and “Papa Was a Rolling Stone,” the Broadway musical is taking its first eagerly awaited tour across 50 U.S. cities. Directed by Jersey Boys’ award-winning Des McAnuff, Ain’t Too Proud features choreography by Tony-Winner Sergio Trujillo and a poignantly written story about brotherhood, civil unrest, loyalty and betrayal, penned by Odie Award-winning writer Dominique Morisseau.
