Storyteller Alex Edelman is one of the best at telling a tale, a master of the artful aside, pausing patiently to give the plot depth and allow the characters to become more three-dimensional. He deftly builds tension and then relieves it, only to build it again as the audience gasps, laughs and cries. Even more impressive, Edelman is a world-class finisher; the man knows how to stick the landing. It’s no wonder Mike Birbiglia himself has sung his praises. Being in the audience and riding that wave is a one-of-a-kind experience.
