In many ways, music is supposed to be an escape. When the doldrums of daily life strike, music can allow peace and healing. That’s exactly the aim of electronic musician AMIDY, who made his commercial debut on Monstercat with a remix of the song “Dream in Color” by HALIENE. Since then, AMIDY has expanded his sonic scope and homed in on his artistic philosophy, using his epic cinematic tracks to immerse the listener in a fantasy world and unite the collective ears through his boundary-pushing notions of harmony. By employing heart-stopping rhythms and otherworldly melodies, AMIDY (which means peace between nations through dance) wants his listeners to find purpose and not feel so alone in the fight.
