As we plowed through the thousands of votes in this year’s Best of Silicon Valley balloting, a few thoughts became clear.
The first is that Metro readers consistently pick reliable winners. The second is that each part of the valley deserves its own recognition, so we divided the winners up into several editions which will roll out in the coming weeks.
This week is Central Silicon Valley—Cupertino, Sunnyvale and Santa Clara—and the southernmost part of the San Francisco Peninsula: Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos, Menlo Park, Redwood City and Woodside.
We’ll follow with issues for San Jose and the West Valley (Los Gatos, Campbell, Cupertino and Saratoga), cities along the Eastern ridge (Fremont and Cupertino) and South Valley (Morgan Hill and Gilroy).
