.Beyonce Announces San Jose Concert

Watch the throne, and kiss the ring. There is no escape: 2013 is shaping up to be the Year of Beyoncé. Taking a page from the Madonna playbook, Queen Bey announced today that she’s hitting the road for an international tour that will stop in San Jose.
After a mostly unremarkable halftime show with her Destiny’s Child cohorts (although, those outfits were quite impressive),  Beyoncé used the Monday morning post-Super Bowl buzz to announce the Mrs. Carter World Tour.
The tour stops in San Jose at HP Pavilion on July 2. Tickets go on Sale February 11 with pricing at $253, $128, 88 and $48. It should sell out quickly.
