.Billy Porter’s First Pop Concert Arrives at San Jose CPA

Legends come and go, but Billy Porter is here to stay. The Grammy, Emmy and two-time Tony winner visits San Jose’s Center for Performing Arts this Thursday with his first-ever pop-music concert tour, The Black Mona Lisa: Volume 1. Porter has found fame throughout his 31 years on the stage in a variety of genres and mediums, most recently the film 80 for Brady and the hit series Pose. Now, Porter tells his life story through song in this 90-minute concert, backed by a full band and a video installation. Songs include chart-topping hits “Love Is on the Way” and “Love Yourself.”
