Blink-182

Members of a certain generation have at one time either swore by Blink-182 or—at the very least—knew ten kids in every class who did. The riotous pop-punk band formed in the suburbs of San Diego in 1992, broke through to the mainstream in 1997 with “Dammit” and went on to achieve massive success by 1999 with the release of Enema of the State. Singles like “What’s My Age Again?” merged punk sensibilities with unabashedly juvenile humor and a West Coast ear for melody, creating a golden formula that captured the hearts and minds of skater boys and girls everywhere. What more is there to say? Always, I know / You’ll be at my show. (AM)
