Headliner Chain plays seething, powerful hard rock with a melodic undercurrent. Bay Area-based Drought plays post-hardcore and released a 2023 self-titled EP recorded at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland. Fresno-based See Thru describes its style as Fresnoise. Shop Dog traffics in heavy, infectious, fuzzed-out grunge/shoegaze; they released a six-song cassette, Pry, in 2023.
