The annual Chile, Mole, Pozole Festival celebrates Mexican Independence Day with a family-friendly concoction of local Mexican food, music, entertainment and art. All attendees receive a bag of chips and easy access to all festival features. Local chefs in their respective booths serve homemade recipes of chiles, moles and pozoles. Amor Prohibido, one of the best Selena cover bands in the US, performs in the pavilion following dances by Calpulli Ocelocihuatl, Los Lupeños, and a Spanish-language presentation by Teatro Alebrijes. A luchador ring in the center of the Plaza adds a new element of celebration this year.
