Now known as a thoughtful, humorous troubadour, Colin Hay once rode the waves of the mainstream, tasting superstardom as part of the massively successful pop group Men At Work. Though the band sold tens of millions of records by the mid-’80s, they soon called it quits. Hay, however, struck while the iron was hot, releasing his first solo album within a year of the band’s breakup. Since then, he’s released a dozen critically acclaimed albums and developed his artistic voice further, combining pop sensibilities with a witty knack for humorous storytelling. His new album, Now And The Evermore, explores the silver linings in life’s ups and downs.
