They are veterans of the stand-up comedy circuit, so old to the game that they’re practically prehistoric. The Dinosaurs of Comedy features Larry “Bubbles” Brown, Johnny Steele and Michael Meehan. Well-versed in the art of the joke and boasting a laundry list of respective credits, these three comedians have a combined century of experience telling jokes to slightly drunk audiences. If that doesn’t make them dinosaurs, nothing will. Brown, Steele and Meehan are bringing the funny and ready to sling plenty of “back in my day” observations. Plus, their ’80s sensibilities will illustrate the absurd—if not jarring—divide between them and their millennial/zoomer audience.
