Coco follows the story of Miguel, a young boy striving to be a musician even in the face of his family’s generations-old ban on music. After a strange course of events, Miguel finds himself in the land of the dead. There, he meets the charming trickster Hector, and together, they set off on a journey to unlock the secrets behind music and Miguel’s family. For this show at Stanford, Coco will be projected onto the big screen while a mariachi orchestra plays the movie’s award-winning score.
