Founded in 1991, Dogstar was a Los Angeles-based alternative rock band that found moderate success over the course of the ’90s. That success, however, was quickly overshadowed by the meteoric rise of the band’s bassist, Keanu Reeves. Though the band seemed to peter out after the release of their 2000 album Happy Ending, Dogstar has now returned, releasing a new full length this October titled Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees and a tour in support of the upcoming album by the same name. The action on stage Wednesday night may not exactly be John Wick style, but the alt rockers still bring plenty of star power to Menlo Park.

Saw these guys in Napa on Aug. 22; they were excellent! Great vocals and lead guitar by Bret! Rod with his great rhythm on the drums! And of course Keanu on bass guitar was just as terrific as the other two! Of course they all three have shown their fame with their other skills, acting composing, etc. Ready to go see them again!
