Been in the game for 20 years, Hip-hop veteran Dox Black is about to shut everything down when he takes the stage at Loft. San Jose-native, Black continues to shine with his abstract sound and super introspective lyricism attracting true Hip-Hop heads all across the nation. Black started experimenting with rapping in his teen years when he was attending Gunderson High school. His father was the owner of the late music venue Cactus Club so he has been around music his whole life, which influenced him to start doing music himself. Having performed with many greats such as Too Short, Twista, San Quinn and many more, Black is still grinding to make his music heard.
