After months of planning, urban farmers Veggielution unveil their new downtown demonstration garden at Pocket Park this Sunday. There, visitors can find a variety of artfully arranged planter beds growing crops well-suited to the Valley, and learn how to grow their own at home. To help ring in the occasion, they’re throwing a gourmet dinner sourced with ingredients from the garden, all cooked by chefs Jessica Carreira and David Costa of the Michelin-starred Adega. In addition to the upper-crust meal, there’s local beer and wine, appetizers, live music and an art crawl through the nearby galleries.
