Despite it almost being 2025, there are still some hangups from the days of lockdowns and masks. However, nature continues to heal, and here’s some proof: for the first time since before Covid-19, San Jose punks Get Married are returning to Art Boutiki for their once-upon-a-time (and hopefully, now into the future) annual December concert. A who’s who of California bands celebrates the momentous occasion, including Star 99 (San Jose power pop), Stick Up Kid (San Jose pop punk), Dog Party (Sacto punk with ties to the Bay) and Superworld (San Jose screamo). Not only is it Get Married’s return, but it’s also Art Boutiki’s final show of the year in a night that promises to sell out.
