Ghastly may sound like a clever DJ name, but there’s an entire story behind it that involves growing up on a goat farm, being homeless in LA, getting fired from American Apparel, and moving back to the goat farm before returning to LA to give DJing his everything. Needless to say, Ghastly approaches each set like it’s the only thing in the world that matters because that is entirely true for him. His style mixes EDM, bass, and dubstep, but there’s a ferocity to his music that gets feet dancing on the floor with a little extra rage.
