Thanks to Giants Rising, a new documentary about these impressive trees, curious onlookers can learn about these unique and mysterious specimens from experts. Narrated by Michael Franti, the film explores the long and marvelous history of coastal redwoods and, in the process, uncovers fascinating secrets. At this screening in the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, people can learn even more, thanks to an onstage discussion with the film’s director, Lisa Landers.
