CMT’s Rising Stars presents this fun musical based on The Ugly Duckling. The duckling, Ugly, goes on a hero’s journey of self-acceptance as he battles a world that judges him based on his appearance. (Nothing like this world, right?) The songs are catchy and heartwarming, and the adorably talented performers range from ages 8 to 14. The musical teaches lessons about embracing one’s uniqueness and individuality. Runs through April 28.
