XX: 20th Anniversary Album is Il Divo’s tenth full-length record and their first independently produced offering. The award-winning quartet celebrates the release—the culmination of two decades of forging a unique path as classical crossover vocalists—with a tour across Europe and North America. The group suffered a tragic blow with the death of cofounder Carlos Marín, a baritone from Spain, to Covid-19. They ultimately used the loss to find new ways to incorporate their signature sound. “We’re playing around with dynamics of what classical music can mean in a modern world. I think we’ve found an incredible balance,” says tenor David Miller.
