Third time’s the charm for Isaac Mizrahi’s twice-postponed Palo Alto show Moderate To Severe. With COVID delays finally behind him, the New York City-based fashion designer, writer and performer takes his latest creation on the road to the delight of jazz and cabaret enthusiasts. His favorite songs to perform include numbers by Billie Holiday, Cole Porter and Madonna, and fans love the monologues he intersperses on an array of comical, timely topics. Regarding Mizrahi’s mold-breaking career, The New York Times writes, “He qualifies as a founding father of a genre that fuses performance art, music and stand-up comedy.”
