Maryland-raised Jermaine Fowler didn’t grow up in a baby-proofed household. As a kid, he’d open windows during rainstorms to play pirate-ship with his brother, and as a teenager he parlayed his wild imagination into a comedy career. Known for producing and starring in the sitcom Superior Donuts, this Eddie Murphy-inspired comic uses cracks wise at everything from corrupt law enforcement to his relationship with his fraternal twin, Jerome. “If I’m having a good day and suddenly I’m sad, I’ll call Jerome. I’ll be like, ‘You good?’ He’s like, ‘Nah, man. I’m having a bad day today.’ And I’m like, ‘Well, cheer up, I’m at Cheesecake Factory trying to eat.’”
