Since its establishment in 2012, Malposo Dance Company has risen internationally into one of the most highly sought-after Cuban groups. Comprised of eleven dancers, the company continues to advance under the leadership of its three founders: choreographer and artistic director Osnel Delgado, executive director Fernando Saez and dancer and choreographer Daile Carrazana. Their Stanford program begins with Delgado’s “24 Hours and a Dog,” which was created in collaboration with the dancers and is often accompanied by Grammy award-winning Cuban American composer and pianist Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Ensemble. The performance concludes with two notable works by Canadian American choreographer Aszure Barton. (EY)
