CORN OF PLENTY: The chefs put the moves on at the annual Story Road Tamale Festival, a day of food, fun, music (from Rocio y su Sonora and Tortilla Soup) and folk arts (Ballet Folklorico Autlense, Mariachi Alma de Mexico and Los Lupeños). The culinary highlight of this year's festival is the Michoacán tamale known as the uchepos, which is made from very fresh ground corn and then wrapped in corn husks. Be sure to stick around for the crowning of the Tamale King or Queen. The event takes place Saturday (June 7) at Emma Prusch Farm Park, 647 S. King Road, in San Jose.
