5 Out-of-Town Restaurants to Celebrate New Year's Eve

Looking to ring in the new year in style, but feel the need to get away? Here are five top San Francisco restaurants offering special New Year's Eve dinners.

Boulevard
Two seatings. The first is from 6 to 7:15pm with a three-course prix fixe menu for $85. The second is from 8:15 to 10pm with a four-course prix fixe menu including party favors and midnight champagne toast for $150. Cortez
Two seatings. The first is from 5:30 to 7:30pm with a three-course prix fixe menu at $85, and the second is from 8 to 11pm with a three-course prix fixe menu at $95. Entree choices include mustard-crusted wild salmon and glazed Long Island duck breast. Both seatings include champagne. Farallon
Two seatings. The first is from 5:30 to 7:15pm with a prix fixe four-course menu for $100, or $150 with an optional wine pairing. The second seating from 8 to 10:15pm includes a prix fixe five-course menu for $150, or $225 including wine pairing. The second seating includes party favors, a midnight champagne toast and gift bags. Entree choice is seared daurade royale with haricots verts, cipollini onions, Himalayan truffles and brown butter hollandaise or truffle-stuffed filet of beef with chanterelle mushrooms and foie gras sauce. 450 Post St, San Francisco. 415.956.6969.

Millennium Restaurant
Two seatings from 5:30 to 6pm and 8 to 9pm, both serving a five-course prix fixe menu with choices for $80, with optional wine pairing for an additional $20. There will be a complimentary glass of sparkling wine upon arrival. Entree choice between wild mushroom "Wellington" with shaved Perigord truffles, or Asian lemon-grass-coconut risotto topped with Asian menu, with other choices for $95. Second seating is from 9 to 10pm, serving a four-course prix fixe menu with choices for $140. There will be live jazz entertainment for both seatings. Wine pairing available at $35 per person. Piperade
Open seating from 5:30 to 9:30pm with a four-course prix fixe menu and a glass of cava for $85 per person. Guests can select from a wide range of small and large plates and desserts.
