If you were around for early MTV, you have undoubtedly heard the likes of bands Missing Persons and Bow Wow Wow. With a classic ’80s New Wave sound, heavy makeup and a flamboyant sense of style, both bands were mainstays of the era. Missing Persons scored several chart-topping singles and gold-selling albums. As did Bow Wow Wow, who also released the first cassette tape single in music history. Though Bow Wow Wow has tragically lost some members over the years, lead singer Annabelle will carry the torch for the group.
