Mitra Fabian is a sculptor and installation artist working exclusively with nontraditional materials, exhibiting at galleries and museums nationwide, including a 2007 solo show at the Institute of Contemporary Art San Jose. In 2001, Google commissioned her to create drawings that now reside in one of the campus buildings. Fabian also is an art instructor at West Valley College in Saratoga. For this installation, she displays recent sculptures made from circuit board parts that intersect “the natural world, built environments, climate change and human interference” inspired by years of living in the Santa Cruz mountains. Runs through May 18.
