For those looking for more live tunes after the The Holdup, Finish Ticket and The English Beat wrap their sets at St. James Park at this evening’s Music in the Park, there’s just really one question:
Do you feel like indie? Well, do you? What about punk? Either way, you won’t have to go that far.
To check out the mellow, reverb-soaked and trippy beats of San Francisco’s Li Xi and the jangling, shimmery, rollicking indie rock of Oakland-based Everyone is Dirty, head on over to Cafe Stritch, where you can sip Moscow Mules, micro brew and keep the party rolling. The show is free and starts at 9pm
Or maybe PBR and poppy Mexican skate punk is more your thing. In that case, you’re going to want to head to The Caravan Lounge to catch Los Seis Pistos, who have made their way all the way from Chihuahua, Mexico bearing the battle cry “El punk no moriria” (“punk’s not dead”). The show is free and is scheduled to start at 10pm
Music in the Park is scheduled to end at 9pm. Listen to Li Xi, Everyone is Dirty and Los Seis Pistos below:
