Angeleno artist N8N0FACE brings his sublimely grimy, mercurial synth-punk blend up the West Coast this month, landing at Cupertino’s X Bar for an all-ages show on his way back downstate. 2022’s HOMICIDE pogos between the hardness expected from an album cover featuring a blood-spattered ski mask and a disarming lyrical vulnerability, landing right in the middle on the surprisingly boppy “A Joy In Death.” Opening for N8N0FACE, a Bay Area smorgasbord of extreme sound: Daly City hardcore act Forced To Suffer, San Jose’s Infinite Sleep and El Sobrante’s excellently named darkwave artist Scam Likely.
