Classical pianist Nicolas Namoradze, described as a “subtle craftsman of sonic gradation” and “almost spiritually sensitive” by critics, drew international attention in 2018. Upon earning his place as Prize Laureate in the renowned Honens International Piano Competition, he immersed himself in the rich mentorship of his three-year development program. His early teachers include renowned pianist Emanuel Ax and composer John Corigliano. Nicolas has become an artist who plays each concerto with full conviction. Audiences at the Montgomery will enjoy a performance commanded by virtuosity and refined individualistic interpretations of Bach-Busoni, Bach, Fauré, Ligeti, Pärt, Rachmaninoff and Scriabin. (EY)
