Genre-blurring band Ozomatli has long been recognized for its socially and politically conscious music, combining rock, Latin music and hip hop with positive messages. The LA-based collective has earned both commercial success and critical plaudits. Over time, the group also began a series of releases and tours aimed at children and, in the process, expanded its focus. The social themes characterizing much of the band’s music remain at the heart of the group. Celebrating its 30th anniversary, Ozomatli does what it has always done: build bridges.
