Aphrodisiacs for a Steamy Valentine's Day

WINE and champagne are the obvious choices to loosen up your mate on Valentine's Day. While liquor is great, here are a few more subtle aphrodisiacs to make your night a memorable one.
Avocado: The Aztecs thought avocados resembled male testicles and called the avocado tree ahuacuatl, which translates as "testicle tree." Who said guacamole isn't sexy?
Chocolate: Legend has it that Aztec emperor Montezuma drank over 50 cups of chocolate each day to fire his energies for his tremendous harem.
Figs: A fig split open is supposed to represent female sexuality, and Adam and Eve used the fig leaves to cover themselves, so the fruit has got that Biblical sex thing going for it.
Garlic: The warming properties of garlic are supposed to stimulate love. Best to consume with your partner and in modest qualities lest it become more of a turn-off than a turn-on.
Oysters: Viewed as an aphrodisiac and a natural Viagra for ages, oysters represent decadence and indulgence and are said to represent the female genitalia. Or so I have read.
