[whitespace] Buying in Bulk

At the store, the glow-in-the-dark body glitter conspires with the coconut-scented car freshener, which whispers to the new 3-D Doritos, and before you know it, the one item that should have taken two minutes to grab has become a basketful of stuff you don't need.

The real kicker is when you get home and realize you bought everything but the one thing you really needed. It's a classic waste of time and money. But buying in bulk can save your sanity. Stock up on nonperishable foods like pasta, rice, soups and cereals. Stock up on laundry detergent, dish soap, shampoo and razor-blade refills. Stock up on anything and everything that you always need. Then you won't be caught with your pants down.
