Concert series features four-score concerts in four venues

STRETCHING THE BOUNDS of geography, Villa Montalvo announced this week that it is now booking shows into the Mountain Winery (still known to many concertgoers as the Paul Masson Mountain Winery) a few miles up Highway 9. The concert series, which runs April 13Nov. 22, has now swollen to 82 dates in four locations: the Carriage House Theater, Garden Theater and Front Lawn at Montalvo, and the amphitheater at the Mountain Winery.

Tickets can be purchased starting April 13 at the Montalvo box office, with advance privileges for people on the Montalvo mailing list--getting on the list, luckily, is easy: just send a postcard to Villa Montalvo, P.O. Box 2520, Saratoga 95071. For details, call 408/961-5858.
