Montalvo Ramps Up for Season Big names in jazz and pop fill summer schedule for Villa Montalvo and Mountain Winery SUMMER IS STILL about three months away, but music bookers never sleep. Villa Montalvo, one of the area's most active performing-arts showcases announced its schedule this week. With four venues (the Garden Theatre, Carriage House and Front Lawn at Villa Montalvo in Saratoga and the renovated Fox Theatre in Redwood City), the series has something for just about every audience except fans of thrash-metal ragtime. Ticket sales begin Thursday (March 21) for members of the Friends of Montalvo; the general public will have to wait until April 12.
