EATING and driving can be a messy and even dangerous activity. But if you must dine and drive, here are five foods that are suitable for in-transit consumption. Just remember to keep your eyes on the road and have plenty of napkins on hand.
Bananas: Easy one-hand eating with little mess. Do not throw peel out the window.
Egg Rolls: Tasty, bite-size snack. Hold vertically to avoid spills. Slice in half and sprinkle with soy sauce before you take the wheel.
French Fries: Except for the grease on your hands, fries are relatively mess-free. Apply ketchup before you go.
Sandwiches: The key here is to get a tidy, relatively compact sandwich that won't fall apart in your hands.
Sushi: The sticky rice helps keep everything together. Do not attempt to mix the wasabi and soy sauce while driving.
