By Sarah Quelland
WHAT A WHIRLWIND RIDE it's been for Papa Roach since the band signed with DreamWorks Records last fall. Papa Roach's latest accolade is a nomination in the Best New Artist in a Video category for the MTV Music Awards. The competition? Christina Aguilera, Macy Gray, Pink and Sisqo. The awards will be broadcast live on MTV from Radio City Music Hall Sept. 7 at 5pm. P-Roach is working on the video for its second single, "Broken Home," which manager Gary Avila says "will be a real tearjerker."
